On wartime Russia rejoins key deal Ukrainian grain exports

To world markets Ukrainian grain and other commodities are ready to be shipped and thus Russia agreed an agreement that allows it to rejoin a wartime on Wednesday. Meanwhile, since the Russian invasion eight months ago at around 14 million the U.N.’s refugee chief, put the number of Ukrainians driven from their homes. With no heat, water or power Kyiv prepares for a winter

If Russia keeps striking the country’s energy infrastructure and that means having no electricity, water or heat in the freezing cold cannot be ruled out, Ukraine’s capital, the mayor of Kyiv, is warning residents that this winter they must prepare for the worst.  “To avoid this we are doing everything. Amid heavy Russian shelling Power blackouts hit Ukraine

In the aftermath of Russia’s devastating strikes on energy infrastructure on Saturday in Kyiv and seven other regions of the country Ukraine’s state electricity operator announced blackouts. With missiles and drones the move comes as Russian forces continue to pound Ukrainian cities and villages, inflicting damage on power plants, water supplies and other civilian targets that is nearing its nine-month mark in a grinding war. For the first time acknowledged supplying Moscow before the invasion but the drones it has used in Ukraine came from Iran that Russia has denied With “a limited number” of drones  the Islamic Republic’s foreign minister on Saturday.  To stop the conflict however, Tehran didn’t know if its drones were used against Ukraine and stated Iran’s commitment, Hossein Amirabdollahian claimed. As West mulls rebuilding plan German president visits Kyiv

Since the start of Russia’s invasion on Tuesday Germany’s president arrived in Kyiv for his first visit to Ukraine, for Ukrainian rebuilding when the war eventually ends as Western countries mulled a massive plan. “With drones, cruise missiles and rockets it was important to me in this phase of air attacks to send a signal of solidarity to Ukrainians”, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier said just after arriving.  The Kremlin’s forces have ruined homes, eight months of pummelling, public buildings and the power grid. At 350 billion euros ($345 billion) the World Bank estimates the damage to Ukraine so far. On his third try the German president made it to Ukraine whose position is largely ceremonial.
