US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that he believes his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is a normally rational actor who badly misjudged his prospects of occupying Ukraine. After Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion into neighbouring Ukraine more than six months ago, the two countries are engaged in a struggle for control of areas throughout eastern and southern Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, in August whose forces began an offensive, has vowed to take back all Russian-occupied territory.
