If Russia keeps striking the country’s energy infrastructure and that means having no electricity, water or heat in the freezing cold cannot be ruled out, Ukraine’s capital, the mayor of Kyiv, is warning residents that this winter they must prepare for the worst.  “To avoid this we are doing everything. After Russian President Vladimir Putin launched an invasion into neighbouring Ukraine more than six months ago, the two countries are engaged in a struggle for control of areas throughout eastern and southern Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, in August whose forces began an offensive, has vowed to take back all Russian-occupied territory.
